Mexico ?? Check!

As you already know guys, I'm taking the Travel and Hospitality Course at Oulton College in Moncton New Brunswick. And there's a trip is included, like the past 4 years, we went to Mexico!

We flew out from Moncton to Cancun on the 24th April with Canjet Airlines. The flight went well and pretty fast ! (4h15min) For the staff, I was a little bit disappointed, it wasn't the best service ever.Once we got there we took a bus down to the Riviera Maya, a 1h15 drive. We stayed at the Grand Sirenis  Riviera Maya Resorts & Spa - All inclusive for a week. It is a big resort, you need to walk a little bit or catch a shuttle! There is a really good atmosphere at this resort, many activities, the swim up bar is here to help you enjoying your day with your friends. The disco will give you something to do the night like the 7 a la carte restaurant in the resort. The rooms are really spacious, the staff is amazing, they take care of the resort really well and they offer some no-included activities like swimming with the dolphins or turtles! I wanted to swim with dolphins since I was a little girl and I finally did it, it was awesome!

We went on four excursions;

The first one was at Xcaret Park, I got the chance to swim with Nurse Shark! It was really cool! Here is a picture of us with one of them!
A part of that it was a really nice day, we ate at a Mexican restaurant, while we were eating a band was playing traditional music, the people over there are the sweetest people ever! We went on the underground river and we snorkelled at the same time. We saw dolphins, different type of fishes like jellyfish and flamingos! I really enjoyed this day!

The second excursion that we went on was at Xel-Ha Park. It's more like a water park if I can say. You can snorkel all around the park as much as you want and everything is included. We did the lazy river on tube it was so beautiful, we were under the branches for a while, then if you want to you can jump of the cliff (which is kind of scary!), do zip-line and ropes.
If you want you can take pictures with an Iguana, parrots or a Toucan!

After that we went to Tulum an old Mayan City. Our guide was interesting, he told us stories about the Mayan culture and traditions. On the same day we went shopping at Playa del Carmen, which was 45min away from the resort. The secret of Playa Del Carmen is to barging! At first they will ask you a crazy price for some jewellery but as long that you show them money, they will take it even if it is three times less then what they asked the first time!

Here a picture of my amazing instructors and their partners!

To conclude, I really enjoyed this trip. It gave me the taste to travel again and to see different things! We had beautiful weather all week, the beaches were so amazing, the animals were so cute and I simply loved this trip!

Where is next ??  :D

Ma Bretagne

The majority of the people that know me, know that I'm from Brittany in France!!
Brittany is a beautiful part France, I'm gonna be honest the weather is probably not the best in France but it's so nice under the rain too!
It's divided in 4 department, Morbihan, Ille-et-Vilaine, les Cotes d'Armor and the Finistere (that's where I come from!). They are all beautiful but I really like the Cotes D'armor, my grand-parents live there and I use to take runs with my grand father at this beach! (the picture right here)

Maybe you already know but crepes come from Brittany! You can also find salty crepes if I can say, it's made with a different kind of flour than the classic one  and no sugar. We call them Galette de Blé Noir. You make them on a platform like this:

And that's the two types of crepes:

One good treat over there is the Kouign Amann, it's basically just sugar and butter, it's not good for you but taste so good !!

Brittany has its own culture and music too! To be honest  I'm not a fan of it but it's typical for this area. We have our own traditional custom, danse and music. We do all of this for the occasion of the Fezt Noz. Here is an example of this event:

And of course during these kinds of festivals we eat! The traditional meal is called the kig ha farz :

The landscapes are amazing, I love the water, the beaches are so beautiful with rocks and waves! I just love it.

Maybe I don't live there any more but I'm still in love with it. A part of the Acadians come from Brittany too! I know right ?! that's the best area of France! :D I could say so many things about it! I hope you will visit it on day :)

One of my dream - New-Zealand.

One of my biggest dream is to go or maybe leave in New-Zealand.

This country look so beautiful and full of history! The culture of the Maori looks so interesting and different. Those people seems really nice and friendly.
I admit the thing I want a see it's those pretty landscapes!

Milford Sound

Milford Sound is a fjord in the south of New-Zealand, the Maui use to live there and that's looks incredible!

I think the best way to go in New-Zealand is by backpacking! :O All this wonderful walk you can probably do on your own must be awesome!

Since I'm young I've seen game of rugby so many time on TV and the team of New-Zealand (All-Blacks) is so intense with their dance and singing before each game!
I wish i could go to Hertz Sevens, the fourth leg in the HSBC Sevens World Series, played at Westpac Stadium in Wellington each year. The atmosphere looks so fun and it would be so cool to see a match in reel life!

And there are probably so many things to do there and I want ta go so baaad! I hope I will go one day :) :)

PS : And you have probably lots of sea food there, which is great!
